I guess you're wondering who the Cavaliers are in the picture above? From left to right: Charlie, Tucker, Sofie and Jenny Rae. My name is Linda and my partner is Ron and we are Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeders. If you have any questions regarding the Cavalier breed or our Cavaliers, please email us.
Our Cavaliers are AKC registered and are yearly tested; Heart Certified (OFA) and Eye Certified (CERF) each year. Our Cavaliers are not bred until they are 2 - 2 1/2 yrs old or older. Our Cavalier ages range from 5 yrs to 1 year 8 months old.
When breeding our adults we only use Artificial Insemination. Next breeding scheduled will be July 2010, Sofie (Blenheim) and our Charlie (Blenheim).
UPDATE: Charlie and Sofie have passed their CERF/Eyes & OFA/Heart Exams and are now Certified, Congrats to Sofie and Charlie!
Charlie and Sofie went to see their reproductive vet and Sofie was inseminated today, Monday, July 19, 2010. My whelping date will be around or on: September 18, 2010, but this could change once I receive paperwork from the reproductive vet.
CONFIRMATION: Sofie had her ultra-sound this morning and its confirmed, she is pregnant!! The vet saw 4, 2 on each side, but said its possible there might be 5. We'll have Sofie's X-Ray done on or about her 55 day (Sept. 9, 2010) to confirm litter size. Whelping date is: September 18, 2010
